We are a family operated, team of 5, small business, founded in 2017 based in the foothills of the Campsie Fells in the sleep village of Lennoxtown in Scotland. Created, owned and operated by Michelle and David, a husband and wife team, who are parents to three of the most amazing children who regularly help out.
What do we do?
We are an artisan manufacturer and supplier of premium hand cut Scottish Tablet. We specialize in creating the freshest, most delicious, soft, smooth and creamy melt in the mouth all butter Scottish tablet.
How did it all start?
In early 2017, after much prompting from family and friends who had enjoyed our Scottish tablet for years, I registered with our local council and environmental health department and gained a 5 star kitchen inspection. A food safety and hygiene course soon followed and we opened for business in October 2017. In March 2018, we were very proud to achieve a 'Great Taste' award for our product.
Why choose our Scottish Tablet?
Our sweet ingredients are locally sourced, hand weighed and mixed (no premixes used here...!) slowly with much patience, continuously stirred by hand in our huge copper pans until it reaches the perfect temperature and consistency. It is then hand poured into lined trays, allowed to cool and then hand scored into bite sized chunks of irresistible creamy Scottish tablet for you to enjoy...
